Helle is known for it's reputation in creating traditional Scandinavian style bushcraft knives, with an emphasis on great carbon steel and long lasting bushcraft knife designs. These are a great bushcraft knife to be paired with a larger full tang blade. This is essentially an extremely nice Mora style knife with upgraded features and semi full tang.

The knife is designed by none other than Les Stroud, a.k.a. Survivorman, for all your outdoor bushcrafting needs. This isn't the type of knife that your going to use to baton down large pieces of firewood, nor is it meant to be your only blade to carry. It certainly isn't a one tool option when it comes to bushcraft knives. But if you like traditional style Scandinavian Mora Style blades and want something beautifully handcrafted, then this is a great choice.

The semi-full tang provides the extra strength needed with bushcraft knives and this blade will certainly hold up to years of abuse better than a cheaper style mora knife. The tang is exposed on the top and pommel end, but is covered by the wood of the handle on the finger side. This protects the fingers from direct contact with the steel in cold weather. The drop point style blade is made of carbon steel that provides excellent edge holding toughness and ease for sharpening. The handle has a bit of a finger guard to help keep your hand off the edge when slippery. The handle shape on the updated version of the Temagami allows a better control of the knife when holding in more positions. The Temagami comes with a Scandinavian style pouch sheath retaining the knife securely without the need for snaps or straps.
